Séance started from a simple idea: your films should stay beautiful and within reach, even when the internet isn’t.
Our videos often live in folders with impossible names, on drives we end up forgetting. Streaming platforms made cinema beautiful and easy — as long as the connection holds.
Séance brings both worlds together: the elegance of a streaming app, applied to your own files, with one golden rule: everything must keep working offline. Information is fetched once; after that, a fiber cut, a storm or a long trip changes nothing about your evenings.
Séance is designed and built in Paris by EURL ZENATI, an independent company. No investors to please, no data to sell: software you pay for once, that respects you.

In a few words
Séance is a Mac app that turns the videos on your drives — movies, series, family videos — into a library worthy of the Apple TV app, and works entirely offline. Posters, synopses and cast are fetched once; a universal player, “Tonight”, family profiles and on-device Apple Intelligence do the rest. Lifetime license, no subscription, no account.
